A Denver man has been charged with peeping into a teenager’s bathroom at her home, Lincoln County authorities reported Friday.
The 17-year-old victim came to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office around 12:15 a.m. to report the incident. She told officers that she discovered a camera and then took it to a neighbor’s home. When she looked at the video, she saw images of herself in the bathroom, authorities said.
Officers seized several digital recording devices, which contained other photographs and videos, according to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office release.
Wilford Dwight Avery II, 40, was charged with one felony count of secretly peeping into a room occupied by a female, authorities said. He was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
