An anti-crime advocacy group is holding a forum Tuesday for candidates running for Mecklenburg County District Court.
The event is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at East Baptist Church, 6850 Monroe Road, Charlotte. It is being hosted by CharMeck Court Watch.
The forum will feature nearly a dozen candidates running for District Court, according to a flier. Organizers said they hoped the event will allow voters to hear directly from the candidates and “make a more educated decision when it comes time to cast your ballot.”
Anyone wishing to attend is asked to RSVP to admin@charmeckcourtwatch.org. The event is open to the public, but space is limited, organizers said.
