There is no shortage this fall of fabulous fashionable events in Charlotte. Up next? The Junior League of Charlotte’s annual Lights! Camera! Fashion! event Oct. 14 at Belk SouthPark.

The annual event (with two runway shows at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.) is consistently a night of fashion, fun and of course shopping, all for a great cause: the JLC, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community. The JLC annually contributes more than $100,000 to community projects and more than 25,000 volunteer hours.

General admission tickets are $50 each, or two for $90, and include entrance to the event, food and drinks and a gift bag with a $10 Belk gift card. VIP tickets are $95 each, or two for $170, and also include entrance to the event, food and drinks, and a VIP gift bag with a $20 Belk gift card, among other goodies.

Celebrity designer and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof will be the special guest for the Oct. 14 event. Maloof’s fall 2012 line of handbags and shoes is available in select Belk stores.

Want to go? I’ve got a set of two tickets to the 8p show to share with a reader. To enter a random drawing to win the tickets, send an e-mail to info@rachelsutherland.net with the following information: JLC in the subject line and your first and last name and phone number in the body of the e-mail. Entries must be received by 6p Wednesday, Oct. 10. Only the winner will be contacted.
