Candidates for county and state offices and a presentation about a bond referendum are included in the program for Thursday night’s North Mecklenburg Candidate Forum in Huntersville.
The program will be from 7-9 p.m. at the CPCC North Campus, 11930 Verhoeff Drive.
Two featured sessions are planned. The first features candidates for N.C. House District 92 -- Democrat Robin Bradford and Republican Charlie Jeter. The second features candidates for Mecklenburg County commissioners’ District 1 -- Democrat Keith Bradford and Republican Karen Bentley.
In addition, Huntersville Town Manager Greg Ferguson will present information about three bond issues on the ballot. Huntersville Mayor Jill Swain also will speak about the bond package.
Callan Bryan, an attorney from Cornelius and chair of the Lake Norman Chamber’s Public Policy committee, will moderate the forum.
