Hard to believe 30-interlocking pieces can create 21 different styles of lampshades/hanging lights. But Infinity Lights use flexible, heat-resistant, polypropylene quadrilaterals to create infinite variations of shapes and colors. Kits can be combined and price varies according to size: $25 for a small kit, $35 for medium, $40 for large and $70 for the large cylinder. www.infinitylights.com. Hilary Trenda
Spray bottle fabric softener
Method released its dryer-activated fabric softener in September. The concept: spray four to six sprays directly onto wet laundry (depending on the size of the load), crank up your dryer and ditch the petroleum or animal-fat-based dry dryer sheets.
The verdict? We were pleasantly surprised by the subtle fragrance, softness and static control. The formula is heat activated, plant-based and never tested on animals. Each bottle of spray available in Fresh Air or Lavender Lilac is good for roughly 100 loads of laundry and retails for about $7. www.methodhome.com. HT
