The first major traffic problem in the Charlotte region this Monday morning came after the morning commute.
The N.C. Department of Transportation reports a disabled tractor-trailer blocking the right two lanes of northbound Interstate 85 near Mallard Creek Church Road (Exit 46). Crews are working to move the truck out of the travel lanes, but motorists on northbound I-85 can expect delays until at least 9:30 a.m.
Otherwise, the morning commute went very well, with no major problems. Even congestion headaches weren’t as bad as usual.
