Authorities are investigating three church break-ins that happened Monday in Charlotte.

Music equipment was stolen from churches on Albemarle Road, Old Pineville Road and Central Avenue, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police report.

Police have not said whether the crimes are related.

Thieves stole an amplifier and base guitar from Morning Glade AME Zion Church, the report says.

A piano and speaker were stolen from El Tabernaculo De La Uncion off of Old Pineville Road, and a keyboard and two speakers were stolen from Come In and Dine International Worldwide ministries located off of Central Avenue.

The music equipment from all three churches is worth a total of $2,925, according to the report.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call police at 704-336-7600.
