LENOIR -- The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office says it is asking the public’s help in finding a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since late last month.

Investigators say they have determined the teen, identified as Brandy Melina Marley, is a runaway. They believe she is being helped by someone to prevent from being located. Authorities say they don’t believe the girl is in danger, but they want to return her to her family.

The girl also goes by the name of Brandy Melina Flowers, deputies say. She is white, about 5 feet 1 and 130 pounds, with green eyes and blonde hair.

She was last seen Sept. 30 at the intersection of U.S. 321-A and Pinewood Road, in Granite Falls.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call detectives at 828-759-1520, or 828-754-2324.
