Democratic National Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz rolled into uptown Charlotte Tuesday afternoon on the second stop of her party’s “Gotta Vote” bus tour.
The big blue bus, painted with slogans such as “Forward Not Back” came to Charlotte from Aseheville, the start of a statewide tour.
Democrats unveiled a mock board game called “Mittnopoly.”
“‘Mittnopoly’ is a game in which profits come before people,” Wasserman Schultz said before flying out for Tuesday night’s presidential debate.
“She’s in North Carolina, slinging mud and painting a picture of Mitt Romney his own mother wouldn’t recognize because she can’t defend President Obama’s terrible record,” Wayne King, vice chair of the state Republican Party said. Jim Morrill
