Eliana Brinson, an 11-year-old from Mooresville, won the annual Golden Voices of America competition in the 9-10 age group in the Musical/Theater category.
As part of her award, Eliana will perform with other winners of the competition at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York in early November.
Golden Voices of America holds the international-level competition under the auspices of the American Fine Arts Festival.
