No one was hurt in a wreck that involved a school bus and a car Wednesday afternoon in Gaston County.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sparrow Springs and Freedom Mill roads, which run through Crowders Mountain State Park.

The Gaston County school bus had 17 people on board, and two people were in the car, according to the Crowders Mountain Fire and Rescue. No injuries were reported.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the crash.
