Teal Masquerade Charity Event
This Halloween costume party and fundraising event will run from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday at The Blake Hotel, 555 S. McDowell St. Donations will be accepted to benefit local gynecologic cancer nonprofit Teal Diva. Costumes are welcome and a prize will be given for the best masquerade mask. Tinnitus meeting
The annual group meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at United Methodist Church Fellowship building, 110 S. Polk St., Pineville. Attendees will be asked to become tinnitus education advocates with the goals of increasing local prevention efforts, local and statewide awareness and helping to plan and execute the group’s first Charlotte fundraising event to benefit credible tinnitus research.
