Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they are looking for a man in connection with the robbery of a Harris Teeter store Thursday in north Charlotte.

The robbery was reported about 6:30 p.m. at the store in the 2200 block of West W.T. Harris Boulevard. That is near Mallard Creek Church Road.

Police say the man was wearing a tan baseball cap and overalls. He fled in a silver van. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 704-334-1600.

Detectives are not saying if they think Thursday’s robbery has any connection to a series of Harris Teeter robberies across Mecklenburg, Union and York counties earlier this year.
