Otherwise, congestion is the big problem on the interstate highways, and police are working to clear an injury wreck on Albemarle Road.

-- I-485 inner loop, south Mecklenburg ... Congestion slowing traffic to 25 mph from Providence Road to South Boulevard.
-- I-77 southbound, Lake Norman area ... Congestion slowing traffic to 25 to 30 mph from the lake down to Gilead Road (Exit 23) in Huntersville.
-- I-485 outer loop, near South Boulevard ... A collision reported about 7:35 a.m. Moderate congestion in the area.
-- I-77 northbound, south Charlotte ... Congestion slowing traffic to 20 to 25 mph from Carowinds Boulevard to Tyvola Road.
-- Albemarle Road at Regal Oaks Drive ... A collision with injuries reported about 7:30 a.m. The wreck is being cleared, but traffic is very slow from beyond Lawyers Road to the wreck scene.
