Charlotte firefighters made quick work of a blaze Friday morning at a building in west Charlotte.

The fire was reported shortly before 9:45 a.m. in the 2700 block of Tuckaseegee Road. That is three blocks northwest of Berryhill Road.

Firefighters found smoke coming from the structure when they arrived, fire Capt. Mark Basnight said. It is a residential structure apparently being used for a business.

Basnight said a crew of 32 firefighters subdued the blaze in 12 minutes. There were no injuries, he said.
