Harry Reid hospitalized after car collision

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., went to the hospital after a six-car pileup Friday in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Reid, who is 72, was transported to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas has minor rib injuries, the newspaper reports.

Two Las Vegas police vehicles, two civilian vehicles and two Capitol Police vehicles were involved, the Associated Press reported.

Reid was on his way to the newspaper's office for an editorial board meeting with the Spanish language publication El Tiempo.
