Last year: Germanys Martin Kaymer rallied to win at Sheshan International.
Last weekend: Nick Watney won the CIMB Classic in Malaysia, closing with a course-record 10-under 61 in the unofficial PGA Tour event.
Notes: Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are skipping the event. The tournament is in its eighth season and fourth as a WGC event. The winner will get credit for an official PGA Tour victory and, if a regular PGA Tour member, receive a three-year tour exemption. The prize money doesnt count in the PGA Tour official earnings. Phil Mickelson won the 2007 and 2009 titles.

Last year: Jay Don Blake won the season-ending tournament by two strokes in San Francisco. Tom Lehman took the season points title and $1 million annuity.
Last weekend: David Frost won the AT&T Championship in San Antonio.
Notes: The top 30 on the money list qualified for the event. Bernhard Langer leads the Charles Schwab Cup standings, 211 points ahead of Lehman.
LPGA TOUR/JAPAN LPGA TOUR
MIZUNO CLASSIC
Site: Shima, Japan.
Schedule: Friday-Sunday.
Course: Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club (6,506 yards, par 72).
Purse: $1.2 million. Winners share: $180,000.
Last year: Japans Momoko Ueda beat Chinas Shanshan Feng with a birdie on the third hole of a playoff. Ueda also won the 2007 event.
Last weekend: Norways Suzann Pettersen won the Taiwan Championship for her second straight LPGA Tour victory.
Notes: Japanese star Ai Miyazato, a two-time winner this season on the LPGA Tour, is skipping the tournament. Pettersen also is taking the week off. Top-ranked Yani Tseng is in the field along with No. 2 Stacy Lewis, No. 3 Na Yeon Choi, No. 4 Park, No. 5 Feng, No. 7 Jiyai Shin and No. 10 Mika Miyazato.
