Four Covenant Day School students were winners at the Pineville Fall Festival Art Show the weekend of Oct. 20-21.
Seventh-grader Michael Bose received Best in Show for his acrylic painting and won a $200 award; seventh-grader Haywood Ferguson took third place in the sixth- through eighth-grade division for his collagraph print. Sophomore Joe Yardley finished first in the high school division for his acrylic painting. Fifth-grader Eli Kibler received honorable mention in the third- through fifth-grade category for his acrylic painting.
Each school was permitted to submit 25 entries. This was Covenant Day’s seventh year to submit prize-winning artwork.
