More details on first lady’s Charlotte visit Monday

First lady Michelle Obama’s visit to Charlotte Monday is free and open to the public, but tickets are required due to limited space.

Tickets to the afternoon event near the Carolinas Aviation Museum off Josh Birmingham Parkway are available on a first-come, first-served basis at http://OFA.BO/charlotte.

Parking is available for $5 at the Long Term 4 lot on Old Dowd Road. Free bus shuttles to the event will be available from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

It will be the first lady’s fifth visit to North Carolina since August. Staff reports
