LANCASTER, S.C. Two men were injured in a shooting late Saturday in Lancaster.

Just before 10 p.m., Lancaster Police responded to the 500 block of Miller Street after receiving calls about multiple shots fired, according to a release from Captain T.S. Grant.

Police found several people carrying Fredrickeon Lamar Twitty, 18, of Robinson Road to a vehicle. Twitty had been shot in the back, Grant said.

Officers went inside to find Montrez Michael Clark, 22, of Norfolk Road laying in the kitchen floor with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper left bicep, front right thigh and left thigh areas.

Twitty and Clark were treated by EMS before being taken to Springs Memorial Hospital then Carolinas Medical Center. Twitty was treated and discharged. Clark remains at CMC in fair condition, Grant said.

Police have not said what led to the shooting or identified the gunman.

Police are asking witnesses to call (803) 283-1173.
