ROCK HILL A Rock Hill man whom police found standing naked in a yard early Sunday said he was robbed by two men who forced him to strip before stealing his cell phone.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., an officer heard seven gunshots go off near the Green Street area, according to a Rock Hill police report. The officer found the 25-year-old man standing in the front yard naked.

The man said two men, one wearing a black shirt and black and red hat and the other wearing a yellow shirt and a yellow hat, held him at gunpoint on Whitner Street and told him to “give it up,” the report states. They warned the man not to make them kill him before they ordered him to remove his clothes and then took his Cricket cell phone and his wallet filled with $200 cash.

The men ran to Whitner Street toward Crawford Road, the report states. The man said he ran after the robbers and that’s when they began shooting at him.

Police found five 9mm shell casings in the driveway. They later found a yellow hat, a pair of glasses and a yellow shirt in the woods near the 400 block of Whitner Street, and a black and red hat in the backyard of a Whitner Street home, the report states.
