Pubs and Pucks Party: The NHL may be on strike, but we still have Charlotte Checkers hockey, which had their home opener Sunday. Pin Up, Pin Down Fashion Event at 10 Park Lanes (1700 Montford Drive): Local boutiques showcase their new fall fashions not on the runway, but the bowling lane.
