    Bobcats observations

• The earliest Hakim Warrick will play for the Charlotte Bobcats will be Saturday vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. Warrick has to come for a physical, so there is no time to get to the Wednesday game against the Timberwolves.

• Shooting guard Ben Gordon missed Tuesday’s tip-off with what the Bobcats described as a family emergency.

• Matt Carroll, headed to New Orleans in the Warrick trade, didn’t play much, but that doesn’t mean he had no role. Carroll was named co-captain this season because he was universally respected in the locker room.

• Carroll needed just three more game appearances to pass Raymond Felton for the second-most games played in Bobcats history. The leader is, of course, Gerald Wallace.

• Bismack Biyombo played just 10 minutes in the Dallas game because of lacking productivity. Tuesday he committed two fouls during his first two minutes.
