Union County authorities said they are investigating the Thursday morning death of a toddler in Lake Park.
Sheriff’s Deputies and Union County EMS responded to the 3600 block of Arthur Drive in Lake Park where investigators say the father found the 15-month-old unresponsive and called 911 immediately.
Help was dispatched at 9:27 a.m., but first responders were unable to resuscitate the child.
Foul play is not suspected. The case remains open pending the findings of the Medical Examiner.
