No injuries in north Charlotte house fire

No injuries were reported Monday morning in a north Charlotte house fire, authorities say.

Firefighters were called about 5:45 a.m. to a house in the 6400 block of Monteith Drive, west of North Tryon Street and south of Tom Hunter Road.

Crews found smoke coming from the house when they arrived. Charlotte fire Capt. Rob Brisley said it took a crew of 26 firefighters a little less than 20 minutes to subdue the blaze.
