• Naked & Famous Denim, “Weird Guy” style in Deep Indigo Selvedge, $175
On Style Girlfriend, I encourage guys to trade up from their outdated, light-wash bootcut jeans to a more modern (and flattering!) straight leg, dark-rinse style. The “Weird Guy” from N&F sounds funny, but looks great on every guy I know.
• Portland General Store Cigar Box, $80
I’ve always loved the smell of men’s aftershave, and this brand has my new favorite. This shaving kit from Portland General Store comes all-in with a badger hair brush, aftershave splash, wet shave soap and facial moisturizer. That’s a whole lotta man smell. The reclaimed cigar box the gift set comes in makes it easy to wrap, too.
• Uniqlo HEATTECH Knit Neck Warmer, $13
Now that the Japanese retailer has launched their e-commerce site in the United States, everyone can get their hands on the brand’s amazing “HeatTech” thermalwear. The heat technology fabric shows up in everything from socks to puffer jackets and keeps skin warm without bulky layers.
• Ball & Buck, Original Pocket Tee in Navy, $48
These tees, made in heavy-duty cotton with pockets that come in cool patterns like blackwatch and camo, make a great gift for every guy on your list. Every guy wears T-shirts, but more important, every guy’s T-shirt collection is probably in desperate need of a refresh. Even better, the Boston-based company produces everything it sells right here in the U.S., which I love. Furthering their street cred? Cool collaborations with other American brands like New Balance and Allen Edmonds.
• Nike FlyKnit Racer Running Shoe, $150
Oh Nike, you had me at hi-vis. These bright yellow running sneakers are the perfect sports accessory to get a guy motivated on a dreary winter morning to hit the gym when he’d rather just stay in bed. Plus, they’re so light you can barely feel you’re wearing them.
• Birchbox Man’s set ($20/month, gift certificates available)
Many women already know about Birchbox, the monthly subscription service that delivers grooming and lifestyle products to your door every month, but did you know they’ve started a men’s version as well? For $20 a month, the lucky recipient receives a box filled with cool, travel-size goodies – from hair gel to barware to cologne. When a guy discovers something he loves, he can easily jump on the site and order it, earning points toward future purchases.
