I know a post about what I'm thankful for comes as no surprise; however, I think it's important to sit back and appreciate what you have. I don't do that nearly enough and I should take the opportunity to do it more than once a year. I have a friend who posts what she is thankful for regularly. I think if we all did that more often, it would really improve our spirits. So,because there really is so much to be thankful for, I want to share those little pieces of my life with you.
- I'm thankful for my loving husband. He understands who I am and sticks by my side no matter my quirks or how many bad days I have in a row.- I also feel blessed for the relationship I have with my mum. I know how fortunate I am that we are so close and I cherish every moment we share together.- I am grateful for my full time job when the economy is so tough and for my freelancing/blog position with Carolina Bride. The latter continues to be a dream come true for me and I feel so blessed for the readers who share my joys and sorrows with me.- I'm thankful that this year we are celebrating Thanksgiving in our own apartment! Last year having our own place seemed like an impossible dream.- Of course, I also can't forget how blessed Robert and I feel to have Alice in our lives. She is the perfect addition to our family and we are so lucky to have her.- Lastly, I'm grateful to have a friend who understands my nerdy side and will act nerdy with me. On top of that, she helped take me to Disney World when she knew I couldn't afford it on my own. Talk about an amazing friend! When I look back on everything that has changed since last year, it leaves me overwhelmed with gratitude. We have come so far since we got married and our lives can only better from here! Here's hoping that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoys countless blessings.
