DENVER -- Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for a 16-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen since late Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say Amanda Marie Atkins was last seen about 5:30 p.m. at the family’s home on Lake Shore Road South. Family members said the teen had gone to her room and when they checked on her about 10:20 p.m., she was gone. Amanda had left through a window, authorities say.

Investigators believe she is somewhere in Gaston or Lincoln counties.

She is a white female with blond hair and green eyes, about 5 feet 1 and weighing 115 pounds.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Lincoln County sheriff’s detectives, 704-732-9050, or call 911.
