A security guard was wounded early Tuesday in a drive-by shooting outside a north Charlotte night club, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say.
The shooting was reported about 1 a.m. at Club Cabaret 124, an adult entertainment club in the 100 block of Atando Avenue, just off North Tryon Street.
According to police, the guard was walking in the parking lot when a car approached. Someone inside the car fired shots, wounding the guard.
Medic took the victim to the hospital. As of Tuesday morning, there was no word on the condition of the guard. Police also have not released information on the vehicle involved in the incident.
