According to an item in Thursday’s New York Post, basketball legend and Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan may not have scored any points with members of an exclusive country club because of a sartorial slip up.

The paper’s Page Six gossip column reports that Jordan was recently playing golf as the guest of a member at the ultra luxurious Miami Beach country club La Gorce, but his attire wasn’t appreciated.

Jordan was wearing cargo pants on the course, but the club’s dress code requires members and guests to wear a collared shirt and Bermuda shorts.

When it was requested that he return to the clubhouse and change clothes, he refused and continued to play, drawing the ire of other players.

An unnamed source told the paper that enough members complained that Jordan will not be invited back, but added that it would be a loss for the club because Jordan is a great golfer.
