SHELBY -- A Cleveland County man has been jailed after authorities say they found 141 pounds of marijuana in the man’s home and his vehicle.

The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office says Jose Juan Gonzalez-Martinez was arrested Friday after agents searched his residence in the 2300 block of Stony Point Road, near Shelby. Sheriff Alan Norman said the arrest is part of a larger drug investigation involving the sheriff’s office and federal agents.

Gonzales-Martinez is jailed under $150,000 bond, charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession with intent to sale or deliver marijuana.
