Missing Charlotte man found, is OK

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a 78-year-old man southeast Charlotte man reported missing early Tuesday has been found and is OK.

Robert Bowden, who lives on Lyttleton Drive, was reported missing by family members after he drove off sometime Monday afternoon in a GMC truck. Family members said Bowden was suffering from dementia.

Police say Bowden was found Tuesday afternoon in central Charlotte in good health, and they say he is being reunited with his family.
