Union County commissioners re-elected Jerry Simpson as board chairman this week, and Todd Johnson is vice chair. Simpson has served as board chair since he was first elected in 2010.
Two new members joined the all-Republican board, Frank Aikmus and Richard Helms. They replaced Tracy Kuehler and Kim Rogers, who did not seek re-election.
