A six-car wreck on northbound N.C. 16 near Mount Holly Huntersville Road and Interstate 485 caused traffic delays for commuters Wednesday night.
The accident happened just after 6 p.m. and sent two people to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Wreckers were called to clear the scene; the second wrecker responded around 7 p.m. Traffic had begun to move more freely around that time, police said.
