Papa John’s delivery man robbed at gun point

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were searching for suspects connected to an early Friday robbery of a Papa John’s delivery man.

The 44-year-old man, identified as James Harris Jr., was delivering pizza to an apartment at 4525 Sharon Chase Drive when multiple suspects that he didn’t recognize approached him. They pointed a handgun at him and stole his wallet, $42 in cash and a cell phone, a police report shows.

Harris wasn’t hurt, according to the report.
