Matchup to Watch
Kemba Walker versus Stephen Curry: Theres obviously some sex appeal in watching emerging Charlotte star Walker versus Charlottean/already-NBA-star Curry.
Observations.
• The Warriors are on a roll this cross-conference trip, having won in Brooklyn and Washington on back-to-back nights.
• Curry signed a lucrative new contract with the Warriors recently, so he wont hit the free-agent market anytime soon.
• Former North Carolina star Harrison Barnes is having a solid rookie season, shooting 43.7 percent from the field.
Tap-ins
• The Bobcats are on the longest current losing streak in the NBA, at seven games.
• Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap shook up his lineup Saturday, starting Bismack Biyombo and DeSagana Diop ahead of big men Byron Mullens and Brendan Haywood. Its unclear how long that will last
• Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson should be an interesting test for Bobcats rookie/defensive ace Jeffery Taylor
Did you know?
Dunlap beat out about nine other candidates to become Bobcats coach last June. Among the rising names in the mix: Warriors lead assistant coach Mike Malone.
