I hope everyone is in full holiday mode like we are over here 14 foot Christmas tree and all! Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday. Not only for the thoughtful gifts and cookies-galore, but it mainly means my hipster L.A sister will be here along with other family. Its hard when everyone is far apart. Especially when your maid of honor is 3 time zones away! Thats all right thought we are making it all work, which is the important part.
Ive got three finals behind me and one on the horizon (Monday at 8 AM!). It feels good to know that this semesters end is near, its been an incredibly challenging one. Im looking forward to getting a lot of wedding related stuff done in the next few weeks (especially since my sister will be here) and some good workouts in. I was able to attend Danas AirCore class at Flex + Fit after my weigh in last week and Im still sore. And its AWESOME. Speaking off weigh-in, another 2 pounds are no longer a part of me, woohoo! I contribute that to stress and zero to no snacking these past few weeks. Who has time to munch of pretzels when youre up to your eyeballs in peripheral vascular disease and angioplasties? Not I. I plan on continuing on my slow and steady track all the way up to the wedding. I am hoping to keep kicking my own rear at some Flex + Fit classes about twice a week and joined the gym down the street. Ive found that I dont need to work out every single day as long as I practically make myself cry 3-4 times a week. I can handle that.
Jeff and I had our weekly date at the Panthers game Sunday (heres a pic). We had SO much fun and were glad they could pull off a nice big W! Spending time with that handsome man reminds me everyday how lucky I am to be marrying one heck of a guy and that wedding stress is so worth it.
Until next time my skinny minis!
World peace and skinny jeans,
