Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are trying to identify two men wanted in an armed robbery at an auto sales business in west Charlotte.
The robbery occurred just after 12:10 p.m. Tuesday at Mikes Auto Sales of Charlotte in the 3800 block of Wilkinson Boulevard.
Police said two men entered the business carrying a firearm and demanded money from someone who was inside. The suspects then left the business in an unknown direction. No one was hurt in the robbery.
In a news release, police described the first suspect as a medium-skinned black male, who is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 with a large muscular build. The man was wearing a tan brown coat with a sweatshirt underneath, wearing tennis shoes, police said.
The second suspect is described as a medium-skinned black male, who is between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1 with a thin build, a thin mustache and dreadlocks. That suspect was wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood, light colored blue jeans and tennis shoes.
Police said both suspects are believed to be between 25 and 35 years old.
