The holidays are upon us, and if you’re anything like my well-meaning but pressed-for-time boyfriend, you’re dropping major hints to the woman in your life that, well…you haven’t even started shopping yet.

Scarves are to women as baseball caps are to men – we simply cannot have too many of them. A beautiful, hardcover coffee table book is a surefire success in gift giving. Just think about the woman’s hobbies and interests. Does she love fashion? Pick a book on her favorite designer’s work. Got a gal who loves to cook? A tome on restaurants around the world will pique her culinary interests. The list goes on and on.
