1 in hospital after motorcycle wreck on I-77

A person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a wreck involving a motorcycle on interstate 77. Medic officials responded around 12:10 p.m. to the crash, which happened in the interstate’s southbound lanes just before exit 16.

Medic treated one patient for injuries before taking the person to Carolinas Medical Center Main.
