Holidays at the Garden

The annual holiday display features Christmas trees (including the popular Orchid Tree) and lighting displays; kids can visit Santa, make a nature-based craft or take a carriage ride.

The show blends historic film footage, still images and animated graphic designs of the era with live renditions of songs by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane and many others.

One of the area’s largest holiday light shows, with more than 3 million lights on 800 displays. There’s also an outdoor ice rink ($12, including skate rentals) and a Christmas Village (Thursdays-Sundays) featuring a live Nativity scene, a festival of trees, a petting zoo and photos with Santa. Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m., see a showing of “A Christmas Story.”
