Senior strollers
This free walking club meets 8-9 a.m. every Wednesday at Bailey Road Park, 11536 Bailey Road, Cornelius. This club is a partnership between the Cornelius PARC Department and the North Mecklenburg Senior Center and is geared toward seniors looking to socialize with their peers and work on fitness at the same time. Meet at the playground by the tennis courts to walk the trail that loops around the park and walk as long as you like. Details: 704-896-2460, ext. 188.

Alzheimer’s support group
This free support group is for those that have a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. The group meets 6 p.m. the last Thursday of every month, Elmcroft of Little Avenue, 7745 Little Ave. Hosted by Elmcroft Senior Living. Details and to register: 704-541-9333.
