Recycle cards for gift tags
I make my own Christmas gift tags by cutting the pictures or scenes from old Christmas cards into rectangles or squares. I then put a hole in a corner using a hole punch and attach to presents with a piece of string or ribbon. You would be surprised how uniquely they each match different themes and colors of wrapping paper. I write a “to” and “from” message on the back. Jeanette Hartsell, Midland
Clever flying tip
When flying, put the name, address, and phone number of your hotel on the back of your luggage tag. This may help recover your luggage if it’s lost. This worked for me in Istanbul. Wanda Prince, Lenoir
