• Charlotte Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap switched up his rotation early in the game against the Golden State Warriors, inserting power forward Hakim Warrick less than four minutes into the game.
The Bobcats traded for Warrick earlier this season, giving up Matt Carroll and adding $500,000 in additional salary, to acquire him. But Warrick hadnt played in four of the previous five games, and only three minutes in the other game.
Warrick did OK: Four points off 2-of-4 shooting in eight meaningful first-half minutes.
• The Warriors have an interesting artifact on the wall outside the visiting locker room at Oracle Arena. Remember when they upset the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs a few years ago? Dirk Nowitzki was so mad he threw a chair at that wall, about 14 feet in the air, with enough force to poke a sizeable hole.
Later the Warriors asked Nowitzki to autograph the wall under the hole. He obliged.
