Man shot with BB gun northwest of uptown

A man was shot with a BB gun just northwest of uptown Sunday night.

The shooting happend on Norris Avenue, near the Druid Hills neighborhood. Around 4:30 p.m. a person pulled up to a police officer on the street and said a person inside the vehicle had been shot.

The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to police, who have not identified a suspect in the assault.

Police encourage anyone with information on the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
