Drivers in uptown Charlotte should be prepared for detours near Bank of America Stadium on Thursday ahead of this evening’s Belk Bowl game.
Portions of three uptown roads are closed near the stadium:
• South Mint Street between Morehead Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
• Graham Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Mint Street
• Stonewall Street between Mint and Church streets.
The roads are expected to reopen at midnight Friday, according to city officials.
The Belk Bowl game between Duke University and the University of Cincinnati will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Bank of America Stadium.
