First Footin’ at Rural Hill

Experience the Scottish New Year tradition of First Footin’, where participants walk the borders of Rural Hill and listen to stories of history and folklore. The walk is 2-3 miles, so dress comfortably. A dramatic reading of the story “Stone Soup” and a luncheon will follow. The event is free; bring something to share at the luncheon. Lovin’ Lindy presents Jumpin’ Java, a free swing dance class followed by an open dance held the last Friday of the month. The beginners’ lesson starts at 7; the open dance runs 8-9 p.m.
