Some seek a vintage feel when it comes to wedding planning, and others love that country flair. When Olivia Eppley and Christopher West soaked in their engagement and started to plan their wedding, there was no question of the style they wanted to achieve. When I watched the royal wedding, I loved the feel and atmosphere, and how romantic it was, says Olivia. The church was the main thing that I loved we picked First United Methodist because it reminded me of Westminster Abbey.
Though the two met at Clemson and didnt want to abandon their Tiger pride, they kept the orange to their favors, instead choosing purple, ivory, and silver to complete their regal vision with the help of planner Elizabeth Webb.
And like the royal couple, these two had a tough time narrowing the guest list and a large entourage for the bridal party. With a big wedding party its hard to get everyone posed the same way, says Olivia of nailing the day-of photos. Stephanie [with Indigo Photography] controlled the environment and knew exactly what she needed to get and how long we had for certain poses.
Royal Rides in Belmont provided transportation from the ceremony to the reception siteand ultimately the couples favorite moment of the day. Just being in the Rolls Royce and having some alone time after we were married was awesome, says Olivia. A lot of people told us how the day would fly by and we wouldnt have a moment to ourselves Riding in our own car was the best thing we could have done on our wedding day.
Just being able to talk to her without distractions was great, adds Chris. I hadnt seen her all day and I knew she was busy getting ready, so having that quiet moment for just me and her was really special.Featured VendorsPhotography
