Stallings police are trying to identify a man accused in a robbery of a Walgreens this week.
The robbery occurred around 10:16 a.m. Wednesday at the store located at Potter Road and Chesnut Lane. Police said a man walked into the store and grabbed money from a registered after a clerk had opened the machine. The suspect then ran out of the store with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
The suspect did not show a weapon, and police said the man was last seen running toward Whetstone Drive.
Police released two photos of the suspect Thursday, who was described as a middle-aged white male, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet, who had a gray and black beard and who was wearing a tan hat, dark gray hoodie, blue and white plaid pants with black slip on shoes.
