Crews are working to repair a broken water pipe on Fox Den Trail in northwest Charlotte. The broken pipe has affected the water pressure at five homes on the road and possibly other residences along Sugar Hollow Road, city officials said.
“Water pressure will be very low to off in at least a one block area until about 7:00 p.m. or until they get pipe fixed and back in service,” said Camden Coley with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Department.
The pipe broke around 3:30 p.m., Coley said but did not know the cause of the break.
